Firearms Safety ....know the rules...say them EACH TIME you touch a firearm!
ARROGANCE AND IGNORANCE ARE HUGE THREATS TO YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS
RULE #1: ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED-PERIOD!
This gun safety rule must be your mind-set. Any and all
guns must be treated as if they are loaded! If someone hands you a gun and says, "Don't worry, it's not loaded," do NOT believe them, no matter who it is. Many people have been killed by "unloaded" firearms!
Whenever a gun is transferred from one person to another,
have the owner remove the magazine, remove any rounds. When you accept the gun, assume the gun is loaded and check it yourself. Remember, there are no accidents, there is only negligence.
RULE #2 NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU
Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show -POSTPONED!
In a stunning move Reed Exhibitions has decided to "postpone" for now, the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show previously scheduled for February 2-10, 2013. Reed's website states that the postponement was due to "The controversy surrounding its decision to limit the sale or display of modern sporting rifles" (also called AR's) at the event.
Dani Oakley Says: After 300-plus vendors, or as Reed Exhibitions calls them "A small percentage" of the 1,000 exhibitors of the pulled out of the event they had no choice but to cancel the show and regroup. Well, I'm not the greatest at math, but that's nearly 1/3 of the exhibits. Many Vendors and Visitors look forward to this show as it's one of the largest on the East Coast, showcasing products and services for sportsmen and women.

Cabela's Inc. Backs out of show
Large hunting and fishing retailer Cabela's Inc. says it will not take part in one of Pennsylvania's largest outdoor sports shows next month. The decision came after the organizers Reed Exhibitions announced it was banning the display and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines.
The event's website says they strongly support the 2nd Amendment. "However, this year we have made the decision not to include certain products that in the current climate may attract negative attention that would distract from the strong focus on hunting and fishing at this family-oriented event and possibly disrupt the broader positive experience of our guests".
Cabela's posted on it's Facebook page - after carefully considering their business practices “and the feelings of our customers, Cabela’s will, unfortunately, not have a presence at the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show.”
